To perform an online notarization, both the notary and the signer must have a reliable internet connection, a video camera, a speaker, and a microphone. You can notarize any document permitted by your state for online notarization.

Each state’s laws are different for notarization. If it's legal to perform remote notary service on it in your state, you can sign it online.

Before starting the signing process, ensure you have the following:

Identification: A valid government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License, Passport, ID Card)

Device: A device with a strong internet connection, working speakers, camera and microphone. For the best online experience, a desktop, laptop or tablet with a minimum 13-inch view screen for your notary session. The Chrome or Firefox browser should be used.
Audio/Visual: A device with working speakers, microphone and webcam (a camera is required for an online notarization)
Internet: Strong/reliable Internet connection
Location: Quiet area with minimal to no distractions

For a personal document notarization, it is recommended that a personal device and email address be used vs a work network where IT security may limit the ability to complete the notarization session.

Remember to have any required witnesses and your driver's license or government-issued ID present for verification of identity at the time of notary service. We do not provide witnesses. We are NOT attorneys licensed to practice law in Texas and may NOT give legal advice. We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 1 hour before the beginning of your appointment.

We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 1 hour before the beginning of your appointment. Rescheduled, canceled appointments, "no-shows" and, in which a trip is made/notary has shown up but is not able to be completed due to reasons outside of the notary/staff's control, are subject to a $10-$30 cancelation fee.
